Lyme Disease

Has anyone here ever had Lyme disease? I was told I had the flu but after 7 days of fevers chills and joint pain all over I decided to get in out hot tub to try to loosen up. My wife noticed a red bite mark on my right arm. I went back to the DR and found out it was not the flu but lym disease. I am on antibiotics and feeling better. I have had a lot of shortness of breath lately. Can anyone tell me how long this disease lasts and wht I can expect next? Thanks!!

I've gotten it twice. The first time I got it in one of my legs and I woke up the next morning and I could only crawl.

Hope you've recovered from this...one of my ex-wife's friends is a real outdoorsy girl and she got Lyme Disease while tromping around through the woods. It took her a couple of months to get her strength back. Good luck to you!
